Manning - 7 Deadly Sins Ideas

I'm struggling hardcore to figure out what I want to do.  Many of the ideas I originally came up with have been taken or would not be unique enough.  I was thinking about maybe evoking the sins concept through typical associations made with certain countries.  The idea would be to use each country's national flag.  I like the idea because it would stay away from the typical colors of the 7 deadly sins, and it would try to bring about the same sentiments in different ways (ie... association of country, fonts and types used, etc.).  The colors from the various flags would also pose for a consistent theme with a great spectrum of colors and small variances that would create a nice collective series of smaller individualized compositions.  Another idea would be to use food...  Either food from one restaurant or just food in general, and play around with what sins each food type evokes.  This one would need some more thought behind it, but it could be a cool idea? Maybe?
