I really like getting the chance to learn about type anatomy. The pieces that make up the puzzle that is type are so important but so often overlooked since they are made to be seamless. It is amazing to me how many older typefaces are used so often today, even though most people would imagine that they would be out of date and style. I think this goes to show that if something is made well, it can become timeless; I believe this is the goal of typography in general.
